Sir or Ma'am,

This blog is primarily for parishioners of the Church of the Good Shepherd.

If this were Stand Firm or another blog, I would let your comment stand. But not here and not after what my parishioners have been through. Please take your cynicism elsewhere and go in peace.

God bless the entire congregation of the Church of the Good Shepherd. I can only imagine how discouraged the recent court decision has made you.

Don't lose heart, I am confident that God will reward your faithfulness.

I am inspired by your courage and honored to think of you as brothers and sisters in Christ.

God bless,

Tony

You are thieves. Get out.

Hi "anonymous",

Yes, I agree, those who are the "thieves" in this case are certainly in the wrong and ought, justly, to leave the rightful owners of the building...those who have occupied, maintained, built, repaired, paid for, worshipped there since 1873...in peace.

Unfortunately, the "law" is not always "just".

It is sad and tragic...thank you for sharing your deep sympathy, compassion and concern. We will pray for you.

God will show us the way. Thank you Matt and Anna for your courage.

Genesis 12

The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.

"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;

God bless you, Father Matt, Anne, the children and your parishioners as well. I am heartbroken over what has happened to good and decent Christians like yourselves. You all continue to be in my prayers, and I know that God will light a path to lead the way.

Btw, please don't allow the slings and arrows of those who will try to attack you, to bother you. They don't know any better, and do not appreciate the gravity of the situation, because they are sick sinners.
